Not at all! Our club consists of riders of all skill levels, and many of our more skilled riders can coach you! Whether you're just learning to ride or want to put down your first trick, we have someone who can teach you!
We ride as often as the weather allows us. Our season usually lasts from March to November, with most of our members using wetsuits in the colder months. We typically will take morning sets and evening sets on the week days, and ride all weekend long. In a usual week, you can expect the boat to go out five to seven times.
Our club is ran by a team of executive members consisting of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Student Advisory Board/Community Outreach. Every year, the club votes in a new executive team, giving every member the chance to take a more active role and build real world leadership experience!
If you're ready to join and get out on the water, message us through this website or on social media and our executive team will get you all set up! Let's shred!
If you want to come ride but don't have your own gear, let us know and we can get you taken care of! Our members are kind enough to allow others to use their equipment, and we can also get you hooked up with new gear if you're looking to purchase your own!
Nope! Every competition (besides Nationals) has a Beginner's division that all beginners ride in. Even if you've just learned to stand up on a board, everyone is still encouraged to compete! It's an absolute blast to be a part of and you won't regret it!
We ride at Lake Carl Blackwell, which is roughly 10 minutes west of Stillwater! Occasionally we will take trips to nearby lakes such as Skiatook, Keystone, and others!
